Nate Haney
Chief Executive Officer
Nate Haney, an attorney by training, is an entrepreneur and community-focused leader dedicated to empowering people and creating opportunities that drive change. As the first in his family to graduate from college, Nate’s educational journey paved the way for a career defined by bold vision and calculated risk-taking. While in graduate school, Nate met his future business partner, Mike White. Years later, they launched their first transportation business with a $2,500 loan and a single truck. Their efforts have since expanded into a network of successful ventures providing comprehensive transportation solutions. As the co-founder of a portfolio of more than ten businesses in the transportation and logistics sector, Nate has guided the organization to industry accolades, including multiple UPS and FedEx Carrier of the Year awards and recognition as a Fast 50 company for outstanding growth. Nate resides in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, Meredith, and their three children: Miles, Hayes and Rawley. Mike White is a leader, entrepreneur and strategist who has built a distinguished career in the transportation industry through innovation, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Mike, an accountant by trade, is passionate about operational efficiency, lean financial strategies and building meaningful business relationships. Mike lives in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, with his wife, Beth, and their four children, Kynslee, Nolan, Easton and Rylee. Derek Walcott
EVP, Strategy & Administration
Derek Walcott is a strategic leader with nearly two decades of experience in the trucking and logistics industry. Known for his team-first mentality and results-driven approach, Derek has held diverse roles spanning business development, operations, strategic planning, security and administration. His ability to connect organizations and drive growth has been instrumental in achieving strategic, operational and revenue milestones across all business units. Specializing in the government and defense markets, Derek has successfully led divisions within organizations that have generated more than $100 million in annual revenue. His expertise extends to working with industry-leading owner-operator, asset and brokerage companies, including Mercer Transportation, Bennett Motor Express, Bennett Heavy & Specialized and Ace Doran. His contributions have consistently delivered innovative solutions and exceptional performance. Derek remains committed to advancing industry standards, and his dedication to collaboration and leadership continues to shape the future of logistics and defense transportation. Derek resides in Tyrone, GA, with his wife, Kristen, and their two children, Mason and Avery. When he’s not working, Derek enjoys traveling, sporting events and playing golf. Craig Burgess

Craig Burgess joined BRW in 1993 after earning his degree in Supply Chain Management from Auburn University. From the start, he knew he had found the perfect fit in an organization whose values mirrored his own. Craig believes service extends beyond customer interactions—it encompasses serving the community and supporting others in meaningful ways. A servant leader at heart, he is dedicated to putting others first and fostering a collaborative environment where people feel valued and empowered to succeed. Throughout his tenure, Craig has exemplified BRW’s core values, continually striving to uphold the principles that define both his character and the company’s legacy. His unwavering commitment to integrity-driven leadership and community service makes him a vital part of the BRW team. Craig resides in Anniston, Alabama, and spends most of his free time surrounded by family. Craig has eight great-nieces and nephews, and he enjoys attending their sports events and school programs. With decades of experience, Misty has crafted and executed large-scale marketing campaigns, spearheaded impactful corporate events, and managed public relations and social media initiatives. Her expertise has consistently driven BRW’s brand awareness, elevated their corporate presence and solidified success in competitive industries. Liz Giddings
Senior Director, Strategy & Innovation
Liz D. Giddings is a senior leader driven by a passion for operational excellence, strategic growth, and empowering high-performing teams. With over 20 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry, Liz has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, optimizing processes, and leading teams to deliver results. Liz began her career in 2003 as a Sales Executive with TSL, where she successfully managed accounts and built strong client relationships. She then moved to Arnold Transportation / USX, where she held multiple roles, including Senior Account Manager and Carrier Procurement Lead, optimizing carrier relationships and enhancing operational efficiency. In 2014, Liz was promoted to Manager of Arnold Advantage, where she focused on maximizing revenue growth and operational efficiency through designing policies, SOPs, and pricing strategies. Liz transitioned to USA Truck, Inc. in 2014 as SCS Regional Manager, where she led operations across multiple branches, driving significant revenue growth and improving supply chain efficiency. In 2017, Liz joined Dupré Logistics as Branch Manager in Jacksonville. She grew the branch from $0 to $15M in revenue, earning Branch of the Year recognition in 2018. Liz was then promoted to Regional Operations Director, where she oversaw East Coast operations, aligning branch performance with corporate goals while driving continuous improvement and profitability. In 2021, Liz was promoted to Director of Customer Development at Dupré Logistics, where she led sustainability strategies across complex supply chain networks, contributing to significant revenue growth and business expansion. In 2024, Liz transitioned to Director of Enterprise Sales Enablement at Dupré Logistics, focusing on driving operational efficiency, CRM optimization, and revenue growth through comprehensive sales cycle management. Her leadership resulted in significant improvements in sales productivity, and customer retention. In April 2025, Liz joined BRW as Senior Director of Logistics Branch Implementation & Organizational Leadership. In August 2025, she was promoted to Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation, where she now leads strategic initiatives and drives innovation to ensure operational alignment across the organization. Perrin is a seasoned leader with 20 years experience leading culture-driven, results-oriented operations. Her career is defined by process improvement, strategic execution, and a deep commitment to frontline engagement and development. Perrin began her career with Federal Transportation Services in 2005, where she served in account and operations management roles. In 2013, Perrin joined U.S. Xpress where she held five progressive roles over twelve years including Director of Brokerage Operations, Sr. Director of OTR Operations, and most recently Regional Vice President of OTR operations at U.S. Xpress. Perrin resides in Ringgold, Georgia with her husband Chad and their two children Blake and Kira. With a proven track record in implementing technology solutions, Cristi has spearheaded major initiatives such as WMS transitions, inventory accuracy programs, and process automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
